What does your perfect day look like?
A dear friend of mine gave me some great advice to think about recently – picture what your perfect day would look like AND make it happen, once per month.
Mine involves waking up and treating myself to my favourite workout (Barre Class); then I grab a coffee & a treat from a local coffee shop and enjoy at my favourite park while taking some time to read or journal; I’d then go explore a farmers market, finding inspiration for my next dinner creation and picking up a few items; I’d go home to enjoy a bit of sunshine on my back deck and then, I’d enjoy a glass of wine while I cook up a dinner for family/friends.
For me, that is simple and perfect.
What does your perfect day look like for you?
IT CAN BE ANYTHING – WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY?!
You know those times you’re somewhere you don’t want to be or starting off the day doing something you dislike?? It is DURING these times our minds tend to wander to what we’d RATHER be doing instead. More often than not, it is that thinking process which takes us to our favourite things to do, perhaps your perfect day.
I CHALLENGE YOU to take some quiet time to yourself to construct your PERFECT DAY and BE SPECIFIC when you’re doing this. Then, book your perfect day into your calendar! Why? Because if it is in there, you’re more than likely going to stick to that commitment you’ve made to yourself.
